Deyal is the most foreseen book of this current year. The story has started with a normal ‘Humayun Ahmed’ plot – delightful young lady from a wealthy broken family begins to look all starry eyed at the home mentor. The beginning was very exhausting and I was unable to relate this plot to the equal authentic plot from the outset. At that point came the occasions of Mujib death and then 1975 overthrow at the prison and last Zia’s ascent to control and the consequence finishing with Taher’s decision. The book felt like a tremendous skeleton for another enormous book that Humayun Ahmed couldn’t wrap up. The closure was unexpected.
